We do not collect payment card numbers, national ID numbers, or biometric data.

🔐 Your password is stored as a bcrypt hash — we cannot see or recover your password. We will never ask for your password over WhatsApp, email, or any channel.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with third parties only as follows:
- Payment processors (such as M-Pesa, MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, Wave, GCash, UPI/Paytm, Binance Pay, bank transfer, and PayPal — depending on your country) — strictly to process transactions you initiate
- Digi — our AI support assistant — when you chat with Digi, your contextual account data is processed to answer your questions. This information is used only for that conversation and is not retained once the session ends. Digi runs on secure AI infrastructure under strict confidentiality terms.
- Hosting provider (Hostinger / server infrastructure) — our hosting provider has access to server-level data as part of providing hosting services
- Skills-performance partners — consistent with our vision of connecting talent with opportunity, we may share skills-performance information (such as your challenge results, accuracy, skill categories, and overall performance level) with selected partners — for example potential employers and recruiters, academic or market researchers, and survey providers — so that demonstrated ability can be recognised and matched with relevant opportunities. We share this only where it aligns with our platform's vision, and we do not share your password, full payment or wallet credentials, or one-time security codes for this purpose. Where required, this sharing is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time (see Your Rights).
- Legal obligations — we may disclose data if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of others
Skills-performance sharing is about your demonstrated abilities, not your private contact or financial details. It is intended to reward and surface talent — never to expose your personal or payment information. You can ask us at any time what, if anything, has been shared, or opt out, by contacting support@digitechcoin.com.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Specific retention periods:
- Account data: Retained for the life of the account + 1 year after closure
- Transaction records: Retained for 5 years for financial audit purposes
- Security logs: Login attempts and cheat logs retained for 90 days
- Password reset tokens: Deleted immediately upon use or expiry (1 hour)
When you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data except where we are required to retain it by law.
- HTTPS / TLS: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted
- Password hashing: Passwords are stored using bcrypt — irreversible and salted
- CSRF protection: All state-changing requests are protected against cross-site request forgery
- Session management: Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity and absolutely after 8 hours
- Brute-force protection: Login attempts are rate-limited and IP-locked after repeated failures
- Input validation: All user inputs are sanitised and validated server-side
While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% impenetrable. Please keep your password and login details secure and report any suspicious activity to our support team immediately.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: You may update your email, WhatsApp, and avatar directly in the dashboard
- Deletion: You may request that your account and personal data be deleted, subject to legal retention requirements
- Portability: You may request your transaction history in a structured format
- Objection: You may object to processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent — including any sharing of your skills-performance information with employers, recruiters, researchers, or survey partners — you may withdraw that consent at any time, and we will stop that sharing going forward

We use a single session cookie to maintain your login state. This cookie:
- Is marked HttpOnly — inaccessible to JavaScript
- Is marked Secure — only transmitted over HTTPS
- Uses SameSite=Strict policy to prevent cross-site attacks
- Expires automatically after your session ends or times out
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
DIGITECHCOIN HUB is strictly for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has registered, the account will be immediately terminated and all associated data deleted.
