How to play Jackaroo

Goal

Race your four marbles clockwise around the ring and into your four home slots. First player to get all four home wins.

On your turn

Play one card to move a marble, then your hand refills to four. If no card can be played, tap any card to discard it and pass.

The cards

• A Bring a marble out of base, or move 1.
• K Bring a marble out, or move 13.
• Q Move 12.
• J Swap one of your marbles with any other marble on the track.
• 7 Move 7 — or split it across two of your marbles (tap “Split 7”).
• 4 Move 4 backward.
• 2–10 Move that many forward.
• ★ Joker — wild: bring out, or move any 1–13.

Marbles

• Land on an opponent and you send it back to base.
• You can’t pass or land on your own marble.
• A marble on its own coloured start cell is a gate — nobody may pass or land on it.
• Passing your entry forces the marble into your home lane; it must fit exactly.
